We’ve updated RD3 HD – Groovebox. The new version 1.4 is now also available for powerful Android phones running at least Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

For all RD3 – Groovebox users: We’re offering RD3 HD for a special price at the moment. Upgrade to the HD version now without paying more than for RD3 HD at the normal price.

RD3 HD – Groovebox for Android tablets version 1.3.5 now available!

We’ve just released version 1.3.5 of the RD3 HD – Groovebox for Android tablets.

The new version comes with session recording so now you can record your entire performance live and save it or share your track directly online on SoundCloud with the included sharing kit. The new version brings also performance optimizations and adjustments for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Arthur Loves Plastic kindly sent us two SPC – Music Sketchpad scenes available for download now on our scenes page. Don’t miss these new scenes called ‘World Control’ and ‘Call Me’ with hypnotic loops, altered voice samples and driving drum loops!

Arthur Loves Plastic or ALP is the performing name of Washington, D.C. based electronic music recording artist Bev Stanton.

Update 1.8 for the SPC – Music Sketchpad released

Version 1.8 of the SPC – Music Sketchpad is now available!

The new version brings workflow optimizations and a special portrait view for 10 inch tablets.

We also extended the step sequencer functionality. Every step sequencer can now be used with up to 64 steps and the number of steps is freely and independently adjustable from 1 to 64 steps with different step lengths from 1/4 to 1/32.

Update 1.6 for the SPC – Music Sketchpad released

Version 1.6 of the SPC Music Sketchpad is now available!

We are now using OpenSL for lower latency and have added a new direct sample trigger mode for live playing. We also have extended the internal browser: You have now direct access to WAV files anywhere on your SD card.

The new version integrates the new SoundCloud sharing kit for Android. Record your performance and share it directly on SoundCloud!

RD3 HD – Groovebox for Android tablets, Honeycomb ready, now available!

We’ve just released version 1.3 of the RD3 HD – Groovebox with Honeycomb optimization for 7- and 10-inch tablets. It comes with two 303-synthesizers, a drum machine with 8 voices, three audio effects and a special rack view in portrait mode on 10-inch tablets.

Massive feature update 1.5 for the SPC – Music Sketchpad out now!

The new version of the SPC brings you new features for recording with a microphone, manipulating audio, building scenes and performing/mixing!

Recording with two distinct recorders

Record yourself and use the sounds directly in your scenes, whether your singing, making percussive noises or playing an instrument
One recorder for recording loops up to 8 bars long
And a second one for recording short sounds for sequencing
Reverse and normalize function

Revised Mixer-Overlay

Once opened the overlay will stay visible until you close it
You can open up to four overlays simultaneously for smooth mixing
Direct access to the patterns A, B, C and D of a pad

Unclosed scenes

All the audio material of a scene is now directly available for further use in other scenes
Combine samples and loops among different scenes or combine them with your own sounds

New loop features

Envelope for each loop for controlling volume and pan with up to 16 breakpoints
Envelope can be up to 4 bars long independently from the loop length
Reverse and normalize function
Revised slicer handling
