New SPC scenes with sounds from Monolog released as free download!

We are very happy to announce the release of two new scenes for the SPC – Music Sketchpad that monolog // mads lindgren made for us. He calls his music Wreckstep and it contains elements from both post-dubstep, drum’n’bass and the breakcore genres.

The first scene is made with sounds from the track ‘Ecule Drift’ from his new album ‘Aerodymanic’. The album is available as a vinyl LP and as a free download on Uhrlaut.

The second scene contains sounds from a remix by Monolog of the track ‘Koto’ from Species that will be released on Jopstep division 17th of april 2012 (http://www.soundcloud.com/jopstepdivision)

RD3 HD – Groovebox version 1.5 out now!

We’ve just released a feature update for the RD3 HD – Groovebox! It’s version 1.5 and is now available on Google Play.

The new version comes with 5 new and enhanced audio effects: Reverb, Delay, Phaser, Filter and Distortion. Every effect has a X/Y control field to manipulate the main parameters in real-time.
Use the effects with the 4 send channels that allows you also to chain two effects and apply effects to each drum machine channel and each of the two synths individually.

The drum machine has now mute buttons and individual accent settings for each drum channel.

SPC – Music Sketchpad 2.0

We are very excited to announce the release of version 2.0 of the SPC – Music Sketchpad!

With the new version the SPC becomes the Android app for sampling, sequencing and beat programming on your phone or tablet.

The new version comes with a completely revamped GUI and includes new audio effects: Reverb, Delay, Phaser, Filter and Distortion. Every effect has a X/Y control field to manipulate the main parameters in real-time. Use the effects with the 4 send channels that allows you also to chain two effects.

The SPC – Music Sketchpad is now optimized for both phones and tablets and the audio engine has been adapted to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). On 10-inch tablets you have the portrait view at your disposal, allowing straightforward operation with it’s split screen design.

Also in this version: A new demo scene with sounds from ota-q called ‘Abfahrt’ and a sound library with one-shot samples.

RD3 HD – Groovebox for Android tablets version 1.3.5 now available!

We’ve just released version 1.3.5 of the RD3 HD – Groovebox for Android tablets.

The new version comes with session recording so now you can record your entire performance live and save it or share your track directly online on SoundCloud with the included sharing kit. The new version brings also performance optimizations and adjustments for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Update 1.8 for the SPC – Music Sketchpad released

Version 1.8 of the SPC – Music Sketchpad is now available!

The new version brings workflow optimizations and a special portrait view for 10 inch tablets.

We also extended the step sequencer functionality. Every step sequencer can now be used with up to 64 steps and the number of steps is freely and independently adjustable from 1 to 64 steps with different step lengths from 1/4 to 1/32.

Update 1.6 for the SPC – Music Sketchpad released

Version 1.6 of the SPC Music Sketchpad is now available!

We are now using OpenSL for lower latency and have added a new direct sample trigger mode for live playing. We also have extended the internal browser: You have now direct access to WAV files anywhere on your SD card.

The new version integrates the new SoundCloud sharing kit for Android. Record your performance and share it directly on SoundCloud!
