RD3 – Groovebox
RD3 – Groovebox is a high quality audio application for Android devices that is easy to use. It combines a 303-style synthesizer and a drum machine with different drum kits. Create grooves on-the-go with these machines that defined the sound of early electronic dance music.

Mixer
On the Mixer screen you start and stop the groovebox, set the tempo and adjust the volume of each instrument. For your performance, choose one of four patterns for each instrument and the pattern play mode (solo, loop or random). Add more spice to your bassline sound by playing with the distortion knob.
Bassline
Bassline is a realtime virtual analog synthesizer modeled after the legendary 303. On the upper part you’ll find the tone control with a highly resonant low pass filter. The multitouch control allows you to alter parameters simultaneously. On the lower part you’ll see a 16-step sequencer that includes accent and slide options typical of the 303.
For more sonic variety use the buttons on the lower left of the screen to switch between a sawtooth or pulse wave. Pressing and holding the pulse wave button will make it into a square wave, pressing and holding it again will return you to the pulse wave.
Beats
Beats is the drum machine page. Every drum kit consists of 6 different drum channels each with its own punch control that adjusts the volume and modulates the sound envelope. The beats are programmed with the step sequencer at the bottom. Use the menu to choose between 8 different drum kits based on the legendary 808, 909, 606, CR-78, Linn, KR55, RZ1 and DMX drum machines.
